Getting started

After adding Orbit to your server, you need to configure it to fit your server. Here below we gonna walk through that process!

The sidebar

In the sidebar we have multiple items, let's go over them

  • Dashboard: Central overview.
  • Settings: General bot settings like nickname, language etc.
  • Modules: The config pages for all of the modules like Streak, Leveling,
  • Commands: Refresh slash command for your build if a command won't show.
  • Logs: Show the guild and dashboard logs.
  • Status: Redirect to the status page to see the status of all our services.
  • Owner Page: Not visible for you.

Settings

In the sidebar (after login) you find the "Settings".

Here you have multiple options which you need to change:

  • Nickname: Change the bot name (premium only).
  • Language: Edit the language which the Discord bot will use.
  • Updates channel: Bot updates will be posted here.
  • Timezone: Edit the timezone the bot uses.
  • Show in public server list: Display your server in our server list.
  • Primary color: The color used for embeds.
  • Secondary color: Not in use atm.

When you press save, these settings will apply (delay of a ~ one minute because of caching).

Modules

Every module has it's own configuration page with options. As an example we will discuss Bump Reminder here.

Each module you can enable. But each module has it's own set of options to configure. With Bump Reminder you can configure the Bump Remind message, interval and the channel where the bumps will be executed and the message needs to be send.
That's all!
